David Owen

David Owen studies the relationships of logic and law, especially the role of formal logic in the legal reasoning and legal education of big religious traditions. David is a doctoral candidate in Arabic and Islamic Studies at Harvard University's Department of Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations, with a secondary field in Classical Philosophy. He holds a BA and MA from Columbia University, and will be away from Cambridge for most of 2015-2016 as a Fulbright-Hays DDRA Scholar, in Spain, Mauritania, and Morocco.
