Katherine (Kassie) Maxeiner is a Masters of Theological Studies student at Harvard Divinity School where she focuses on both Islam and religion in America. Generally speaking, she is interested in issues of memory and tradition, political and religious narratives, the complexities of living with religious difference and diversity, religion and modernity, and the intersections of law and religion in democracies. She received her B.A. in Religion from Carleton College.
